About Life Time Psychology Solutions
Life Time Psychology Solutions is Greg and Dominique Pankhurst. Greg is a Clinical Psychologist working from the Upper Blue Mountains in Katoomba, and Dominique is our practice manager who handles bookings, back office and billing. We provide psychological services to adults, couples and adolescents over 16 years old. Greg has over 30 years experience assisting people with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, work related struggles and more. Greg's style is conversational, friendly and inclusive. Greg is experienced in a number of different therapies including schema therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, family and couples systemic therapy and EMDR.

Greg's Background
Greg is a Counselling and Clinical Psychologist who has worked for over 30 years in a number of diverse settings. Greg has worked with the Community Sector, State and Federal Governments, First Responders and Military, Corporate Sector and in the Construction Industry. Greg has provided crisis counselling, post incident interventions, individual, couple and family therapy as well as adult mental health education throughout his career. Greg holds qualifications in Psychology, Adult Education and Couple and Family Therapy.

Greg sees male, female and non-binary clients aged 16 and over.
Most people come either weekly or fortnightly to start with. Often people will then come less frequently whilst you're working on making change or trying new things out.
Greg is registered with Medicare as a Clinical Psychology provider. In 2025 my standard session fee is $250 and the Medicare rebate is $145.25, leaving a gap of $104.75 per session. To receive a Medicare rebate you will need to go to your GP and have them register a Mental Health Plan, which gives you a rebate on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Sessions may also be claimable under your private health insurance if you do not have a Mental Health Plan.
Greg is an experienced adult educator, having written and taught numerous courses on crisis intervention, individual and couple counselling and Mental Health First Aid. Greg is a registered trainer with Mental Health First Aid Australia.
Greg is a registered provider under the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme and under Comcare. To get approval for sessions under these schemes, please consult your GP or employer.
Greg has worked with firefighters, emergency services, police and ambulance personnel since 1997. Greg was a consultant psychologist with the NSW Rural Fire Service for 25+ years, and worked as staff psychologist with the NSW Police for 10 years. Greg was involved with the VVCS/Open Arms Veterans Line for 5+ years as a Counsellor and Manager.
